Elements of A Body Breakthrough

Through body movement, mime, breathing, centering, tone, pitch, sound, and emotions, we will create an interactive learning environment. We will explore the power of body energy as a multicultural tool in the coaching practice. The presentation introduces our model - The Elements of a Body Breakthrough, which is a non-verbal drama. The purpose of the model is two-fold: to connect with authentic body dispositions and sound and to generate new interpretations sustained by shifts in the body. This model provides the opportunity to playfully explore the connection/disconnection between body, thoughts and emotions and provides a space to create new actions in individuals and groups.

This program is geared towards coaches interested in acquiring body tools for creating sustainable change with individuals and groups.

Coaches will be able to:

  • Explore the power of body and sounds in creating healthy responses
  • Experience a tool that moves into new body spaces and sounds
  • Explore the use of non-verbal dialogues in multicultural settings
  • Bring lightness and physical movements into individual and group coaching sessions
Body Expression - Connecting Body, Language and Emotions

As we move into the new millennium, we are recognizing the power of optimal health. We are addressing the importance of a mind/body connection and we see the value of integrating wellness into all facets of our lives.

For the individual, this new paradigm can become an opportunity for acquiring new competencies and reintroducing skills from childhood as a backdrop for success.

This program is aimed at using the body as a way of expressing, empowering, and educating the individual to help achieve her goals. Through four modules, we explore: how body language is perceived, how exercise can increase energy, how body dispositions affect emotions, and body awareness aids in stress reduction.

This program will be highly interactive. The exercises are aimed at motivating each participant to explore her potential and become more open and centered. This in turn, will generate more effective action.

The Coaching Approach To Wellness

Through the exploration of body energy, moods, reflection and observations, this program will help individuals and teams create new actions and practices. This is an introductory workshop into the coaching philosophy.
